Season 2023/24 brings Vassia’s second collaboration with Greek National Theatre at Goldoni’s commedia dell’arte The Impresario from Smyrna directed by the acclaimed Greek director Vasilis Papavasileiou. Later on, on March 2024, she returns to GNO’s Alternative Stage for the revival of J. R. Brown’s off-Broadway musical The Last Five Years as Kathy.
At the age of 23 she started her opera career at the Greek National Opera, singing the role of Swan Princess in the children’ s opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan by N. Rimsky-Korsakov. Since then she held the leading roles in several opera productions.
In 2014 she won the Song Prize at the 14th International Operatic Competition Marie Kraja.
On the concert stage, she has been a soloist in oratorios and cantatas. Her career includes performances of musical theater roles, chamber music, film music, contemporary classical music works and song cycles.
Additionally, as a voice-over actress and singer, Vassia provides her voice for dubbed foreign language animated and non-animated films, commercials, character reads, text-to-speech and other.
