The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) welcomes autumn with a special tribute to the late Maestro Ennio Morricone who passed away, at age 91, in July.
The tribute includes, between the 8th and the 12th of September, a series offilm projections for which the acclaimed Italian composer had written the music, and, on September 13th, a major concert by the Athens State Orchestra at the Stavros Niarchos Hall, under the direction of the renowned conductor Adrian Prabava and with the participation of soprano Vassia Zacharopoulou. The concert will be held without the physical presence of an audience, and transmitted live at the Great Lawn of the Stavros Niarchos Park, with free entry, as well as online on the SNFCC website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The tribute to Ennio Morricone is realized thanks to a program support grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), and is co-hosted by the Embassy of Italy in Greece, the Italian Institute of Education in Athens, and the SNFCC. It comes under the Tempo Forte Italia-Grecia Initiative 2020. With the support of The Greek Film Archive Foundation. Αφιέρωμα στον Ένιο Μορικόνε στο πλαίσιο του Parklife του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος
Το Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΚΠΙΣΝ) υποδέχεται το φθινόπωρο με ένα μεγάλο αφιέρωμα στον Μαέστρο Ennio Morricone που έφυγε από τη ζωή στα 91 του χρόνια τον περασμένο Ιούλιο.
Το αφιέρωμα περιλαμβάνει, από τις 08 έως τις 12/09, προβολές ταινιών για τις οποίες είχε γράψει μουσική ο σπουδαίος Ιταλός συνθέτης και στις 13/09 μία μεγάλη συναυλία της Κρατικής Ορχήστρας Αθηνών (ΚΟΑ) στηνΑίθουσα Σταύρος Νιάρχος, υπό τη διεύθυνση του διακεκριμένου αρχιμουσικού Adrian Prabava και με τη συμμετοχή της υφιφώνου Βάσιας Ζαχαροπούλου.
Η συναυλία θα πραγματοποιηθεί χωρίς την παρουσία κοινού και θα αναμεταδοθεί ζωντανά στο Ξέφωτο του Πάρκου Σταύρος Νιάρχος με ελεύθερη είσοδο, καθώς και διαδικτυακά στην ιστοσελίδα του ΚΠΙΣΝ, στη σελίδα του στο Facebook και στο κανάλι του στο YouTube.
Το αφιέρωμα στον Ennio Morricone πραγματοποιείται χάρη στη δωρεά προγραμματισμού του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ) και είναι συνδιοργάνωση της Πρεσβείας της Ιταλίας στην Ελλάδα, του Ιταλικού Μορφωτικού Ινστιτούτου και του ΚΠIΣΝ. Εντάσσεται στην πρωτοβουλία Tempo Forte Italia-Ελλάδα 2020. Με την υποστήριξη της Ταινιοθήκης της Ελλάδος.
